In my last post, I focused on Oklahoma’s initiative to introduce the Bible and Ten Commandments into public schools. I argued this imitative is justified due to the following biblical-values-and-public-schools:

First, participation is necessary. Oklahoma has simply entered a game already in progress. They chose not to surrender more field to an enemy who is advancing its own counter-cultural agenda, one which seeks to destroy Biblical and American values–not just in schools, but in all of society.
Secular values will prevail in the classroom if the good guys are limited by rules like “separation of church and state”–which is not an actual rule and was not defined in any founding document. Tie one hand behind your back and avoid difficult confrontations, and you will lose to the enemy not limited by any rules. The enemy demands rules be followed if it offers them an advantage, but ignores rules otherwise. They also destroy values which the overwhelming majority of Americans believed until recently and they are taking us in no discernable direction, unless you consider nihilism an actual direction. Oklahoma intervened to defend values which served America (and Western civilization as a whole) well; theirs is an ethically and intellectually valid position, one that should be totally non-controversial.

Second, Western values under attack are worth defending and are far superior to the secular, essentially Marxist values attempting to supplant them. I start from the assumption that Marxism is the prevailing philosophy among America’s progressive movement. I have written previously of this notion (lost-generations-of-today-and-yesteryear). Today, I examine the consequences on contemporary society. Democrat political leaders like Barrack Obama, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and others have a pedigree in Marxism, and we have seen the fruit of this ideology via their policies.
Here is the essential problem with the Marxist/Progressive movement in America: Marxism has a theological bent: rejection of God, religion, family, nation-states and absolute truth, notions which mattered for the vast majority of Americans throughout my lifetime. This nihilistic philosophy is seen clearly in Marx’s own words.
There are, besides, eternal truths, such as Freedom, etc, that are common to all states of society. But Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis; it therefore acts in contradiction to all past historical experience – Karl Marx
Such a force is demonic. It was set in motion by perhaps well intentioned folks, but they can no longer control it. The movement has transcended them.
Marxist vs. Western Values
Marxism objects to the status quo, but it replaces existing values with what? It talks of overthrowing the bourgeoisie, a class which never actually materialized. Today, the upper classes, the supposed bourgeoisie Marx vilified, have co-opted Marxist theory. Bernie Sanders, Barrack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and others have grown rich while preaching a new version of Marxist class warfare. Ordinary folk swept up in their rhetoric believe they are on the side of righteousness. They are pawns.

Marx predicted the proletariat would rebel in England and Germany, the most economically advanced nations of his day, but that never happened. Nobody today seriously considers Marxist economic theory. Marxist economics led to Potemkin villages because Marxist economics is crap. It creates many problems and solves none. China built a robust GDP under Marxism, but only because it allowed capitalist principles, something Marx would have surely rejected.

Instead, Marxism’s theology has been molded to fit contemporary times. One could call Marxist theology a success because it continues to thrive after 150 years; academics refuse to let it die, and continue to re-define the oppressed and oppressor classes. The victims and the victimizers have changed over time, but the theology remains. Sure, Marxism has failed (failed the people it claims to liberate) everywhere it has been tried, but it just hasn’t been done right yet, you see. New converts are continually attracted to its Utopian promises and its notion your problems are the fault of some other class of people, never your own fault.
There’s a sucker born every minute – P.T. Barnum
Marxism could also claim success in destroying Western Civilization from within. Western Civilization clearly experienced many failures and nobody who touts it ignores its history, but it has been the most successful, most humane, most righteous, and most accomplished civilization that ever existed. Western Civilization was shaped by Christianity and has elevated the ordinary man–not in a direct path, but inexorably towards freedom, democracy, righteousness, the good, the beautiful, and the true. Marxism, in contrast, builds coalitions of the oppressed (although no longer the economically oppressed as Marx envisioned) and preys on resentment and victimization. Its appeal is in blaming others, starting with God and whoever else is opposed to its destructive philosophy. You were just born into the wrong class, and once your class overthrows the oppressors, you and your fellow oppressed will be delivered from tyranny. Give your new overlord the power to overthrow the oppressors. The new boss is the same as the old boss.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/michelle-obama-tells-dnc-her-132843113.html

Michelle Obama said during her speech on the second night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago Tuesday that her parents “were suspicious of folks who took more than they needed.” . . . she conveniently omitted that the Obamas have an estimated net worth of $70 million, as well as luxury real estate holdings in Chicago, Hawaii, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Obama still attempts to divide us by economic class (she didn’t get the memo this is no longer the dividing line, apparently). Her notion may still appeal to some, but should we accept the Obamas belong to an economically oppressed class? They will be the ones to overcome the sins of capitalism and liberate us all? Whatchya talking about, Willis?

Oprah Winfrey spoke at the DNC the following day. She attempted to divide America along other lines: I’ve seen racism and sexism and income inequality and division. I’ve not only seen it. At times, I have been on the receiving end of it.
I am sure she has experienced all these, but she and fellow Democrats continually harken back to an irrelevant past. She ignores the fact Western values brought America back in line and allowed folks like her, the Obamas, and countless others to achieve great prominence and live meaningful lives despite awful inequities in our past.

We have all experienced difficulties in our lives. Mine are just as real as Oprah’s. In addition, my Irish forebears were openly discriminated against (as many other groups have been). But Oprah Winfrey should know healthy individuals do not continue to focus on past resentment–not unless you want to stir up resentment in others to further your own political goals.

Marxism never delivers for the suckers paying its bills. It thrives on conflict, resentment, and class divisions. It always leads to loss of freedom for its subjects (in direct opposition to God’s will for us). Its regimes have killed more of their own people than can be attributed to all religious wars throughout history, even more than the worst of all tyrants, Adolf Hitler. Mao is attributed with killing 50 to 70 million of his own people in Communist China. Lenin and Stalin are said to have killed 40 to 60 million of their own people in Communist Russia. Putin and Xi extend that tradition. Pol Pot killed 3 million in Cambodia, the infamous killing fields. Fidel Castro in Cuba, Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua, Hugo Chavez and Nicholas Maduro in Venezuela, the Kim’s in North Korea, and other Marxist leaders also retained (or still retain) power through brutal repression of their smaller populations. It is the ultimate end-game to a half-baked economic philosophy and theology.

Yet, many still believe devoutly in Marxist promises of justice and equality. Bernie Sanders even honeymooned in the USSR, spent a summer in a kibbutz, and praised Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez throughout his lifetime. He may even be sincere, but he is caught up in a demonic construct nonetheless.
https://time.com/4121126/bernie-sanders-democratic-socialism/
“When I use the world socialist–and I know some people aren’t comfortable about it—I’m saying that it is imperative,” [Senator Bernie] Sanders said, that we “create a government that works for all and not just the few.”

Let’s give Marx the benefit of the doubt that he wished to make life better for humanity. Many others have rejected God to make humanity sovereign. Why should we subject ourselves to God, especially as there is so much pain and suffering in the world? Certainly, mankind can do better on its own without God standing in its way? Marx instead focuses on economics and class warfare instead of God to resolve humanity’s awful fate.
The excesses of capitalism are indeed worthy of critique, but Marx blends his economic critique with theology. However, capitalism itself is not a system of morality. It requires a religious and moral people to implement it properly. Without a religious and moral people, it becomes cutthroat and dog-eat-dog. Underpinned by a religious and moral people, it becomes the system which lifted billions out of poverty and led to an explosion in the world’s population the last few hundred years. Still, the (human designed) system itself, whether capitalism or Marxism is never the ultimate solution. You may not like God’s system, but it is infinitely superior to Marx’s obviously flawed system.

Of course, Marx begged to differ: “From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.” Marx claimed his system was the ultimate solution, the final one, after which mankind would be unburdened from its horrific past. Marx believed capitalism creates the problems and his theology solves it. Marxism blames capitalism, but his fundamental mistake is he is actually attempting to solve the problem of human nature. Human nature and human systems will always eventually fail. Without God to redeem us, we are doomed. Instead, American Marxists want government to implement Marx’s theology and redeem our human failings, but government is the solution to very few problems, much less the problems of human nature.
The destruction of enemies via indiscriminate slaughter is a perennial hallmark of Marxism. The establishment of Marxism itself, not the liberation of the people, becomes the ultimate goal. Resistance is destroyed “by any means necessary”. Marxists regimes with “Democratic” and “Republic” embedded in their names, have set themselves apart as the most evil in history. Marxism has repeatedly demonstrated it is simply a means to power for a select few.

This demonic movement has taken root in America. It goes by many indistinguishable terms: Marxist, Liberal, Socialist, Social Democrat, Progressive. They all end in Fascism and Totalitarianism without fail. The slipperly slope has no bottom. American Marxists have overrun the educational system (along with media, entertainment, and much of corporate America). Marxist theology infuses feminism, BLM, and so many other so-called social justice movements. Now, Marxists are co-opting the most powerful force in America, the US government. They are so close to fully establishing their phony Utopia in America. American Marxism promises the moon, but delivers Potemkin villages at best. It is a theory for ingenues and the perpetually immature like Bernie Sanders and AOC.

Understand who the enemy is or your values and your way of life will be lost. It is easily stopped if recognized and confronted; yet, I meet too many who do not engage in this discussion because they think it is all about politics and politics is an ugly business. Many others do not understand the actual threat; they just want to be left alone, but do not realize the enemy is not leaving them alone.
Mind Your Own Damned Business
Governor Tim Walz said during the Democratic National Convention: “Mind your own damn business”, but his Marxist leaning party doesn’t mind its own business. It continually attacks my beliefs in God, family, nation, truth, and ethical values. Stick to tax and defense policy and mind your own damned business otherwise Mr. Walz. Stay out of the culture because you and your misguided party are destroying it. You have done enough already to destroy meaningful values for our youth.

Of course, Governor Walz’s “mind your own business” line refers to abortion. He and his party object to folks like me reminding him abortion is murder and not a legitimate choice. He says mind our own damned business when it comes to this one issue, but otherwise the government he wants to control will infuse itself into every other issue of American life.

American politicians like Walz promote aborting children to the point of birth and even beyond; it is a practice only a handful of nations around the world do, nations America should not be associated with.
When New York state passed a bill allowing abortion up to nine months, the skyline was lit in celebration. Is there not something demented, even demonic, about celebrating ending a life that never starts?
Marxism vs. Christianity
Planned Parenthood setup shop down the road from the Democrat National Convention (DNC) last month, offering free abortions and vasectomies to Chicagoans and DNC delegates. The Marxist Progressive movement must have its rituals and rites of passage just as all religions do. https://www.nbcchicago.com/dnc-chicago-2024/mobile-clinic-free-abortions-dnc-vasectomies-chicago/3526993/

The Progressive cult celebrates the ending of life (via abortions) and the prevention of creation of life (via vasectomies). Are those values we should promote?
Furthermore, pro-choice advocates have co-opted Jesus’s words from the Last Supper. The phrase surrounding abortion: “this is my body” is a blasphemy Jesus’s establishment of his greatest sacrament.
Then he took the bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which will be given for you; do this in memory of me. Luke 22:19
The baby inside is not your body. Your body does not have twenty fingers, twenty toes, four arms, four legs, and two heads, does it? That means there are two bodies, not one.
Nevertheless, religious icons, symbols, and beliefs must continually be co-opted and replaced with the new religion’s icons, symbols, and beliefs. Christians (and those of other religions) must be reminded we are the enemy. In my last post, I wrote of the Paris Olympics attempting to re-enact Jesus’s Last Supper with a Greek god and a cast of characters who openly deny and defy Biblical teaching:

When are we going to respond to such blatant and obvious attacks on our faith? Our faith is not a fairy tale. It is the only path out of the human condition.
Should there be any doubt what evil force is behind this movement and who is now in control of it? The Marxist progressive movement has progressed far beyond what its progenitors envisioned. They have opened the door for demonic influence, and well-intentioned (as well as not-so-well intentioned) folks have lost control of the rudder. It is a frightening prospect to consider where we go from here with a younger generation increasingly unaware of the antidote.
We witness this evil, yet we are told to mind our own damned business? Sorry. I can’t do that.
For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind Hosea 8:7
Everyone today acknowledges slavery was a great evil in our past. We all believe we would have all stood with the abolitionists (often people guided by their faith) and not been co-opted by the times had we lived then. But would we have? Abortion, the great evil of our time, is defended with as much fervor today as slavery was defended 170 years ago. How will a future America judge our culture which has allowed child sacrifice for more fifty years? Will there be condemnation and shaking of heads as there is regarding slavery today? Why can’t those swept along by the tide see the evil abortion truly is?
Marxism infested our education system beginning in the 1960s and these folks, educated by Marxists, have brought this ideology to American government.
Saul Alinsky was an American Marxist thought leader who died in 1972. Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama were acolytes of Alinsky and Alinsky was an acolyte of Lucifer, the original radical, to whom he dedicated his first book:
acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom. — Lucifer. (Rules for Radicals, Saul Alinsky)
The father of Kamala Harris, a former college professor was a Marxist as well:
Donald J. Harris, who coincidentally shares the same first name as VP Harris’ Republican rival, former President Donald J. Trump, is a retired Stanford University professor of economics, whose econ background is steeped in Marxist theory, which earned him the description from the Economist last month as a “combative Marxist economist.”
These Progressives/Marxists replace Biblical values with questionable values rejected by large swaths of Americans. This evil must be acknowledged and those who cooperate, whether knowingly or not, must be stopped. Thank God there is still resistance to Marxism in America. Our nation does not yet look like Venezuela, but it will if we do not oppose godless Marxism. More Americans need to recognize the enemy which is increasingly following Marxist theology.

The Bible says to love your enemy, but maybe you think you have no enemies. Perhaps, you are charitable towards all and love everyone. Perhaps the enemy is someone at work trying to take your job or someone who bullies you or someone trying to capture your spot on the team, not some amorphous philosophy that does not impact your daily routine. Still, if you are a religious person, recognize you have bigger enemies, enemies who are deadly serious in their mission to destroy your values, especially for your children.
My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism – Karl Marx
Note well: the current secular culture views you as an enemy, just as Marx did 150 years ago. You may not see them as enemy, but they treat you as one. If you do not get into the game, one day you will wonder what happened to your freedom, especially your religious freedom. I hope it will not be too late at that point. This anti-religion, counter cultural movement needs an active opponent. Please stand up now.
