President Joe Biden’s doctor testified to Congress on July 9. He refused to tell anything, asserting his Fifth Amendment privileges before being sworn in, before any substantive questions:
https://apnews.com/article/biden-doctor-kevin-oconnor-testimony-5c2a75c6bec319bb4ff8a417993e3d6c
David Schertler, one of O’Connor’s lawyers, said the doctor had “no choice” but to invoke his Fifth Amendment rights in testimony before the committee. Schertler cited both O’Connor’s responsibilities to protect patient privacy as a doctor and the Justice Department’s ongoing investigation into Biden’s use of the autopen.
Certainly, I wouldn’t want my doctor revealing embarrassing personal details, but such questions were not even posed. Republicans asked just two substantive questions before suspending. Still, the responses reveal something the doctor probably didn’t intend:
“Were you ever told to lie about the president’s health?”
“On the advice of counsel, I must respectfully decline to answer based upon the physician-patient privilege and in reliance on my right under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution. I am not a lawyer. I must follow my lawyer’s advice in this matter.”
The question is about the doctor’s integrity. Neither “yes” nor “no” reveals anything protected by the physician-patient privilege. The doctor might be asked to expand after answering “yes”: who directed you to lie and about what? He could then legitimately refuse to provide details about the former president’s condition, but that point was never reached.
If he answers “no”, his own medical judgment will be questioned. If he answers “yes”, he must reveal who is behind the conspiracy. In either case, we should not accept he is protecting President Biden’s privacy with this first question.
Did you ever believe the President Biden was unfit to execute his duties?
“On the advice of counsel, I must respectfully decline to answer based upon the physician-patient privilege and in reliance on my right under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution. I am not a lawyer. I must follow my lawyer’s advice in this matter.”
This question approaches the matter at hand. Dr. O’Connor was Biden’s physician for sixteen years, including his four years as president. He clearly has insight into the president’s health, including his changing mental capacity over a lengthy period. Still, if he truly believes the president was fit to execute his duties, why not put that doubt to rest and answer “no”? “No” still reveals nothing in particular regarding President Biden’s health, so again reliance on the physician-patient privilege is a canard. The doctor, if he acted uprightly, should have no difficulty answering “no”.
A “yes” answer indicts himself because of his failure to put an end to the sham. The doctor is protecting himself by refusing to admit what he surely knew. He is also protecting President Biden and his party because a “yes” answer must be avoided at all costs, no matter how much prima facie evidence regarding President Biden’s condition has already amassed in the public record. No Democrat or administration official could ever admit this publicly.

Actor George Clooney was not as encumbered as administration officials. Despite being a long-time Biden supporter and outspoken Democrat Party advocate, Clooney hinted at the unspeakable while Biden’s political fate was in the balance last summer. Clooney’s words should have been obvious to anyone paying attention the last four years:
“It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe ‘big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.”
“He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020”? Really? Perhaps Clooney recognized 2020 Joe Biden was already fading, and 2024 Joe Biden couldn’t even compare to the diminished man of 2020?
In 2020, Biden couldn’t remember who created mankind nor that our creator was acknowledged in the Declaration of Independence. you-tube-biden-you-know-the-thing
“We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.” Joe Biden, March 2020 campaigning ahead of Super Tuesday.
George Clooney publicly acknowledged the problem in 2024, but in March 2020, he and the nation should have admitted Biden was unfit to serve.

Finding the Truth
Many Americans cling to a supposed fact if repeated by someone they trust or admire. While there is room for doubt, no matter how marginal the evidence, loyal supporters grasp tightly to their beliefs, unable to contemplate the alternative. One-channel media, the miscreants in the midst of every contemporary deception, propped up the lie that was Joe Biden’s presidency; they insisted upon his viability from his candidacy in 2019 until five minutes before his June 2024 debate flop. They never missed an opportunity to cheerlead, allowing the charade to continue for years:
“I’ve said it for years now, he’s cogent. But I undersold it when I said he was cogent, he’s far beyond cogent. In fact, I think he’s better than he’s ever been, intellectually, analytically, because he’s been around for 50 years,” [MSNBC host Joe] Scarborough said during a March 2024 “Morning Joe” broadcast. “Start your tape right now because I’m about to tell you the truth. And f— you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever.”

Following the 2024 presidential debate, evidence of Biden’s decline became apparent to an overwhelming number of Americans. The Democrat’s game was finally over. Too many were now in the know. Denial was no longer feasible. It was like the moment in your youth when you finally realized made for TV wrestling was not what it pretended to be. So, one-channel media back-peddled–if only to save their own reputations.

Joe Scarborough, however, continues to defend his earlier comments; he never saw a problem, he still insists. Biden, per Scarborough, talked “at length and in depth about foreign policy matters. And he was as sharp as anybody else I’ve spoken to and spoke actually like a man who’s been doing this since he was 29 years old.”
Yes, of course.
CNN’s Jake Tapper defended Biden as vigorously as Scarborough, but gave up the ruse at the appropriate time, lest we question his integrity and intelligence as well. Tapper’s latest book, Original Sin, seeks to reveal the deception that drug on for years: corruption-is-the-problem
He, his family, and his senior aides were so convinced that only he could beat Trump again, they lied to themselves, allies, and the public about his condition and limitations. At his debate with Trump on June 27, 2024, the consequences of that deception were exposed to the world. It was shocking and upsetting.
Now the full, unsettling truth is being told for the first time. Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson take us behind closed doors and into private conversations between the heaviest of hitters, revealing how big the problem was and how many people knew about it.
One-channel media’s iron wall of denial has been shattered. The new strategy is manifested by folks like Dr. O’Connor who refuses to speak. Anthony Bernal, assistant to the president and Chief of Staff for First Lady Jill Biden, followed this same playbook during his testimony.

Was president Joe Biden fit to execute the duties of the president ?
On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer the question pursuant to my Fifth Amendment right under the Constitution.
Did any unelected official or family member of President Joe Biden execute the duties of the presidency?
On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer the question pursuant to my Fifth Amendment right under the Constitution.
Did President Joe Biden ever instruct you to lie regarding his health at any time, including but not limited to your testimony to Congress today?
On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer the question pursuant to my Fifth Amendment right under the Constitution.

If Mr. Bernal acted uprightly, his answers would not incriminate him. On the other hand, he cannot admit he knew President Biden was unfit to serve, and per Democrat Party Vice Chairman, David Hogg, Mr. Bernal was in a position to know: hogg-on-bernal. Mr. Bernal avoids opening himself to questions about failing to act. It was better for him and the president to say nothing.

Staffer Neera Tanden actually spoke to Congress. She explained how documents were readied for the president’s auto-pen signature.
“Just yesterday, we heard from our first witness, Neera Tanden, the former Staff Secretary who controlled the Biden autopen. Ms. Tanden testified that she had minimal interaction with President Biden, despite wielding tremendous authority. She explained that to obtain approval for autopen signatures, she would send decision memos to members of the President’s inner circle and had no visibility of what occurred between sending the memo and receiving it back with approval. Her testimony raises serious questions about who was really calling the shots in the Biden White House amid the President’s obvious decline. We will continue to pursue the truth for the American people.”

I don’t know White House procedures, but why would the president’s inner circle manage the process for obtaining autopen signatures? Mass mailings would require an autopen signature, but why involve senior officials for such routine items? Furthermore, why not allow the president to sign documents himself since so many proclaimed he could walk, talk, and chew gum, while juggling a dozen balls for hours? However, the truth is Biden held few public signing ceremonies during his four years.
Was the president even capable of performing the basic functions of the job?
Hiding the President
His staff and friendly media have lied to us too many times. They hid President Biden throughout four years, and they appear to be hiding more even still.
In 2020, Democrats acknowledged and subsequently hailed the Biden campaign’s unorthodox “bunker strategy”: https://www.politico.com/news/2020/06/24/dems-warm-to-bidens-bunker-strategy-338853
Democrats who were once alarmed that Biden needed to do more are suddenly perfectly happy with a schedule that keeps him as close as possible to his Wilmington, Del., home most days.

It was deemed good campaign strategy, but the bunker strategy persisted four more years. Staff often called a “lid”, a cessation of activities, very early many days.
Even when the president was at his post, we doubted who was in charge. During interactions with media, President Biden often let slip limitations placed on him. The staff, lurking in the background and surprised to have been mentioned, shuffled him back to the basement and out of the limelight before anything more went amiss. https://nypost.com/2024/03/11/us-news/biden-asks-staff-if-hes-allowed-to-take-any-questions-press-kicked-out-immediately-after/
“Am I allowed to take any questions?” Biden said, looking around the New Hampshire Democratic headquarters in Manchester at the conclusion of his remarks there during a campaign stop.
“Anybody here a sta–” the president went on, apparently about to say “staff” before trailing off, as the crowd laughed.
A Biden staffer quickly interjected, “Thank you, press,” before the camera feed covering the event cut out.
Will anyone in the know tell more? Representative Comer’s commission continues to probe; perhaps they will get lucky and interview one honest and forthright official: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/what-house-oversight-can-do-now-that-biden-s-doctor-pleaded-the-fifth/ar-AA1IkTwz
Comer has has sought testimony from nearly a dozen former Biden aides as he conducts his investigation, including former White House chiefs of staff Ron Klain and Jeff Zients; former senior advisers Mike Donilon and Anita Dunn; former deputy chief of staff Bruce Reed, former counselor to the president Steve Ricchetti, former deputy chief of staff Annie Tomasini and a former assistant to the president, Ashley Williams.
Still, Republicans are just fooling around with these folks. Let’s hear instead from Jill Biden, Kamala Harris, and former presidents Obama and Clinton. What did they know? Why didn’t they raise concerns?
The Biden Family
In the meantime, the president’s son, Hunter, provided insight while sitting for a three hour plus media interview last month. hunter-biden-channel5-interview.

Hunter sought to discredit his father’s liberal critics. He says Jake Tapper knows nothing because his audience is insufficient to make him a legitimate journalist:
“What influence does Jake Tapper have over anything? He has the smallest audience on cable news.”
Of course, Tapper may be right in this instance despite his limited appeal. Hunter also attacked Pod Save America, another unsympathetic liberal voice, but unlike Tapper, they have a large audience being one of the most popular podcasts today.
The great influencer, George Clooney, received double buckshot from Biden:
F– him and everybody around him. George Clooney is not a f—ing an actor — I don’t know what he is, he’s a brand.
What right do you have to step on a man who’s given 52 years of his f—ing life to the service of this country and decide that you, George Clooney, are going to take out, basically, a full-page ad in the f—ing New York Times to undermine the president?
Hunter provides dozens of F bombs and three hours of stream-of-consciousness, not necessarily clarity. He also attempted to explain the disastrous 2024 debate. He said his dad hadn’t actually lost his step; the problem was Ambien, a drug to treat insomnia, given at the wrong time:
“I know exactly what happened in that debate. He flew around the world, basically the mileage that he could have flown around the world three times,” Biden said of his father’s travel schedule ahead of the debate. “He’s 81 years old. He’s tired as sh–. You give him Ambien to be able to sleep. He gets up on the stage, and he looks like he’s a deer in the headlights, and it feeds into every f—ing story that anybody wants to tell?”
The president did travel internationally prior to the debate, but he had sufficient time to recuperate. The president’s staff was adept at managing his symptoms and not so blatantly incompetent to send him onto the debate stage without a few days rest after his travel. Perhaps Hunter too should have adopted the “say nothing” strategy rather than offer excuses that appeal to supporters but don’t quite add up.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. Abraham Lincoln
All those close to the president have tried to protect him and their own reputations, but they have a bad hand to play. Their misdirection only reinforces what we should already known.

Dr. Jill Biden has not been subjected to any challenging questions from media or Congress, but she should be confronted. I sometimes see President Biden as the victim, but she knew better. She allowed this charade to continue five years. Her first duty was to her husband. She should have guided him away from running at all, much less a second time. I can only conclude she loved the prestige and the pomp and circumstance more than she loved him. She, who knew his condition as intimately as anyone, allowed this to continue to the point where her husband’s political career ended in shame and embarrassment. She and Hunter blame others, but they were at fault more than anyone else.

We still don’t know who to blame (or credit) for the Biden Administration’s decisions and results. What role did the president himself actually play in major decisions? Did he ever truly exercise his power in the White House or was he always overwhelmed and overruled by the powers behind the throne? Who were the ultimate powers behind the throne? How did they manipulate the president and set the agenda? How much danger was the country in with no one person ultimately responsible?
Perhaps it was wonderful Joe Biden finally realized a lifelong dream of becoming president (he began seeking the presidency in the 1980s). Perhaps, he relished the role, despite knowing he was a figurehead, but others around him knew better, and they will not admit their negligence now. They should face the consequences. What cost to America was it to have a president so diminished? We compare every new scandal of the last fifty years to Watergate, but Watergate pales in comparison. We should demand answers. This should never happen again.
25th Amendment

Why didn’t the Vice President and cabinet officials invoke the 25th Amendment which allows a president to be removed when the “President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.” Why did they continually pooh-pooh its consideration? They had an obligation to the nation; their sophistry should not be overlooked.

Presidents Obama and Clinton too surely understood the situation, but kept to the sidelines.
Would these folks also plead the Fifth amendment if subpoenaed? They should be forced to comment on the record, whether they openly avoid questions or offer more excuses. They are entangled in this mess, but they appear protected. They love to say: “nobody is above the law”, so why have they been excluded?

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You cleanse the outside of cup and dish, but inside they are full of plunder and self-indulgence.
Blind Pharisee, cleanse first the inside of the cup, so that the outside also may be clean.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and every kind of filth. Matthew 23:25-27
