The Nashville Shooter’s Manifesto Exposed

Eight months ago, a Nashville shooter killed six in a shooting spree in a Tennessee Christian school. guns-and-transgenderism-it-is-all-about-the-narrative. The shooter was transgender and the targets were Christians, a narrative difficult to spin. Because no transgenders, gays, minorities, or other oppressed groups were targeted, the usual suspects, Christians and conservatives (especially Caucasian ones), were not blamed. For setting standards on sexuality and challenging the outrageous notion that transgender surgery is natural and always affirming, we are accused of encouraging and promoting hatred. Of course, we have grown accustomed to such injustice and lies about our viewpoints.

Last March, one-channel media did not express our national outrage at any particular group. They went silent as quickly as possible, not blaming their favorite targets. There was also little talk as well of guns. It seemed best to ignore this event and divert the conversation to the latest in the Donald Trump story.

Another notable difference in this instance is that those so often unjustly maligned did not return the favor. We do NOT say transgenders or LGBTQ folks in general are promoting hatred; we do not say this person represents the LGBTQ movement and reflects the views of all under that umbrella; we do not say LQBTQ folks are more violent than the rest of America or that LGBTQ radicalism is our nation’s most dangerous threat. Christians and conservatives are regularly lied about in such fashion.

Instead, we turn the other cheek, an action that should not be equated with passivity; we do not run from the fight (one of humanity’s natural inclinations), but also, we do not instinctively punch back (another of our natural inclinations). We follow the less natural way, the way Jesus advocated: we hold our ground and push back in a less ugly fashion than those who attack us. In this instance, the shooter alone gets the blame.

We should, however, look at what the shooter said in her manifesto, and how our secular, liberal culture influenced her views. Influencing and supporting are two different concepts. You may influence another towards evil without directly supporting the manifestation of that evil.

In today’s broken and fallen world, the hatred and lies are primarily spread by media, academia, and our politicians, but then picked up by the masses. The unjust attacks on conservatives, whites and Christians, what I think we should start calling Conserva-phobia, Europhobia and Judeo-Christo-phobia, profoundly impact the views of a great many. There are shocking results, especially among the least mentally stable. There is no doubt a few of our elites want to turn their political opponents into Emmanuel Goldstein, the shadowy figure in 1984, who received daily two-minutes of hatred. We must expose our so-called elite’s lies and highlight the consequences.

Release the Manifesto

Eight months ago, the shooter’s manifesto, an extensive one we were told, was to be released soon. We were willing to wait for the necessary legalities and the proper processes to be completed, but something derailed that promise as no official release ever came.

nashville-shooter-manifesto-to-be-released

A manifesto would help us know much: what motivated this person, what pushed her over the edge, what opportunities were missed by authorities to prevent the attack. Was there easy access to guns and so more gun control is required? That’s a very common knee-jerk conclusion from our one-channel media. Was she motivated by evil right-wingers or a Hitler-like ideology, a cancer that must be exposed? One-channel media loves to expose (or re-define) these narratives and link them to ordinary folks or political leaders who do not actually agree or support them in any way . Alternatively, was she following or spouting an ideology that needs to be protected from public scrutiny? We didn’t know in late March, but we wondered.

No matter what the truth, we should know. If she hated Christians because of Nietzsche or Mein Kompf, we should know. If there is a glaring omission in our (already thousands of) gun laws and a simple fix is needed, we should know. If she spouted the mantra of one-channel media, telling us how evil society’s oppressors are: the white privileged, the Christian nationalists, the dangerous MAGA folks, we should know. If she saw nothing but hundreds of future white supremacists and was compelled to act, we should know. We should know because ignorant, bigoted, or hateful lies have crept into the mainstream and are negatively influencing Americans.

Can the shooter’s manifesto stand up to scrutiny? Can it expose the lie the media knows it is propping up? As time passed, we heard nothing more, so we wondered why it was covered up. More events happened to distract us, and people resumed their daily lives, so this one story faded away.

We knew the shooter was transgender, but her group identity in and of itself is not relevant. We know from history every ideology can be highjacked and misused. One person who takes extreme actions that few, if any, of us condone does not represent the movement itself (even though this is exactly how the one-channel media unfairly portrays conservatives, Christians, and other groups they can’t help but continually malign), We do not wish to further such mischaracterizations. We believe transgenderism is problematic because of the fundamentals of transgenderism itself, but not because one transgender acts violently. We simply seek the truth of what happened, so we can learn and adapt.

I suppose transgenders proclivity towards violence is roughly the same as the general population itself. I don’t care to know the exact number of crazed transgenders; there should no contest over which group has more mass shooters. None of that calculus matters to me (quit repeatedly dividing us into groups in any case). However, such calculus matters immensely to our one-channel media and their liberal political allies, which is probably why eight months later, there is still no official release of the manifesto.

Stephen Crowder Uncovers the Truth

Steven Crowder, an independent podcaster and occasional journalist (I liken him to Robin Hood with his small band of merry men), finally obtained portions of the manifesto from sources within the Nashville police department.

The major news networks: AP, Reuters, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and all those places where darkness is supposed to die, failed in this endeavor–or more likely, they couldn’t be bothered to pursue this story. Stephen Crowder is very popular and well-known among conservatives, but still someone without the breadth of connections or the resources of the major news agencies. How interesting.

The powerful liberal one-channel media allows only certain forms of justice. The oppressed class must lead the revolution, and so must never be criticized, hence the silence. The Left in general avoids criticizing anyone in the oppressed class. They are completely focused on winning the culture war, even if they have to deflect criticism from someone like the shooter. In addition, those of us who defend American traditional values rather than continually tear them down, must be criticized at every possible opportunity. We are vilified when wrong and more commonly vilified (and lied about) when correct. We do not claim martyrdom (as the one channel media is so fond of doing for those it aligns with); we just want to expose the lies. Thank God for folks like Crowder, The Blaze, Daily Wire, and other conservative networks who are the few journalists committed to justice and truth.

So What Have We Learned Now?

So, why was the shooter “excited for two weeks” prior and why did she hope for “a high death count”? Why does a person appeal to God for such a godless act? The page below provides some insight into her anger and how that anger drove her to kill.

The shooter herself is white, but still hated those with “white privilege”. She mocks the kids with the means to attend private school, but she herself once attended this same school. Obviously, all those kids, the ones who may have mistreated her in her youth (she died at 28), no longer attend the school, but perhaps she considered them all from the same cloth?

My kids too went to a parochial school and while some at our school come from wealthy families, many did not. Our family sacrificed much to afford private school for eight years. We don’t have fancy cars or swimming pools. Indeed, not all private school kids belong to doctors and lawyers. Covenant Christian even offered financial aid to nearly a quarter of their students.

I found more statistics on this school (you can get information on just about anything these days). U.S. News says there were only 116 kids attending. The school is indeed predominately white, with just a handful of minority kids. It has grades K through 6 with most classes being fewer than 20 kids. This school is similar to our kids’ private school, although our school has far more ethnic diversity, for whatever that counts (maybe the shooter wouldn’t hate us quite so much as she hated Covenant Christian kids).

https://www.usnews.com/education/k12/tennessee/the-covenant-school-315943

But why should these stats matter? Why shouldn’t white kids or doctors’ and lawyers’ kids get an education as well? Why can’t their lives be valued just as much as kids from less affluent or non-white backgrounds? This is America, a country in which we value equal opportunity. Such common values used to unite us. Why does identity matter so much to today’s Left? Why do they continually pit groups against each other? We are all Americans. Let that be our identity.

Why should these kids, mostly white and slightly affluent, be hated for who they are? They should not have to reject their “white privilege” to be accepted by an ignorant and bigoted one-channel media. These kids had no control over how they are born or where they came from. Isn’t that the lesson we learned in middle years of the last century? Education is not a zero sum game in which one group wins and another loses. These kids are not stealing something from others by attending such a school.

It seems the shooter hated these kids because of their identity. She repeated mantras of the Left which continually vilifies Christians, conservatives, and Caucasians. It seems the shooter believed Christians hate transgenders–because that’s what media sells–and so she hated them back. I have in dozens of posts repeatedly refuted this ubiquitous lie (https://seek-the-truth.com/category/trans/). However, because the media repeats it so often, many believe Christians are taught to hate, discriminate and disparage, and therefore deserve what is coming to them. In a recent post, I noted The Hill glibly blamed the Supreme Court for affirming a dangerous right upon hateful Christians:

The-Supreme-Court-says-you-dont-have-to-bake-the-cake

Yes, it would be something to worry about were it true.

Father Mike Schmitz in plain language explains the problems with the transgender agenda and the compassion the Catholic Church has for transgenders.

Fr. Mike Schmitz Tackles the Transgender Question In This Helpful Video | (churchpop.com)

These words about gays from the Catechism of the Catholic Church (which can be extended to transgenders) are not hateful in the least.

2357 tradition has always declared that homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered. Under no circumstance can they be approved.

2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity.

2359 By virtues of self-mastery that teach them [persons with same-sex attraction] inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection

Micro-aggressions vs. Macro-aggressions

On college campuses today there is continual outrage over microaggressions, a seemingly relatively minor slight that causes great offense or harm to individuals or their identity groups.

It is true that repeated small slights can lead to far bigger problems. However, there are problems with this definition. Apparently, only marginalized groups, groups like the one the shooter associated with, can suffer microaggressions. How can critically thinking college kids believe our sinful human nature is a problem only for some?

Your liberal professors can be incensed at the microaggressions carelessly lobbed at so-called oppressed groups, but why the silence regarding the outright hatred and blanket condemnations of the Christian kids at Covenant? Why no empathy for certain group identities?

These folks tacitly imply microaggressions the shooter may have suffered are justification for this horrific act.

Apparently, there are also too many white males for them to feel safe. We males are just the embodiment of microaggression apparently.

https://bmjopen.bmj.com/content/10/8/e039092

Is there any critical thinking at our higher institutions today? They focus on justifying their their dishonest rhetoric and elevating the oppressed groups who will lead their revolution. The microaggressions become the source of all problems. If I don’t use preferred pronouns, as I have failed to throughout this post, I am considered hateful and I am doing great harm to all transgender individuals. The focus remains on individuals like me who scoff at the term microaggressions. Harping on microaggressions keeps folks within the oppressed class. Without constant reminders of microaggressions, many might see that life is actually good. Maybe MAGA people and microaggressions are not actually the source of all the world’s problems. Instead, they must remain agitated for the sake of the revolution.

How ironic that microaggressions, even accidental slights, are elevated, but shooter’s hatred, expressed a stark and direct manner must be suppressed. This is the critical thinking coming from our higher institutions. Demand your money back.

We live in America and we are all afforded such blessings and such great freedom. Only though the elevation of microaggressions and the silliness of “white privilege” term can the Marxist revolution be maintained. Otherwise, we might arrive at the conclusion that in America everyone still has an opportunity to succeed.

I don’t deny many are born into awful situations difficult to extricate from, but in America you have a better chance than in any other place. The shooter herself was one of us and had opportunities. She played sports and had artistic talent according to many. She (or someone in her family) had enough to obtain a college degree. On the surface, she doesn’t appear to be someone who was denied opportunity, not someone who should resent all the rich kids who had opportunities she did not.

I am a Caucasian and I may not have suffered as much as many others, but I have had difficulties in my life (as we all have or will have someday). I have suffered serious illnesses and pain. Many close to me have died. I have been unfairly treated in my work and unfairly denied opportunities to rise (so I believe). My so-called white privilege did not protect me life’s vicissitudes, nor do I think any privilege should. The only privileges I acknowledge are: living in America and the graces from God. I am not favored above any of you in this regard.

However, our culture, influenced by academia, promotes narratives which agitate and divide us. We need to recognize the problem.

People like this man and the Nashville shooter hate Christians because they have repeatedly been told Christians hate them. This is a lie. To counter it, we simply need to advocate for the truth.  The one-channel media’s lies can’t stand the light of day. This is why they suppress stories like this one that can’t be molded to fit the narrative. If we ignore the evil or are too busy living our lives to address it, it will continue to grow and will eventually destroy our culture.  We will wonder then: what went wrong? This is a problem our children will be forced to confront.

  1. Comment emailed to me by my friend Mike:

There seems to be a bit of paranoia with your statement. How would the media go about suppressing the manifesto? The reason I found it hasn’t been made public is because its release has been blocked by the parents at the school and the church. Also, the police have said they plan to release once the investigation is complete. Nashville Tennessee is in a very red state so if the politicians had a concern, wouldn’t it be more public? The school is a Presbyterian parochial school and likely conservative. In other words, not aligned with the liberal new media that you fondly talk about. Not sure all this follows your narrative. The shooter, as you mentioned, doesn’t reflect the ideas and opinions of all transgender people and the fact they opened fire and committed a mass shooting I’d say they barely represent themselves. Their writings should be analyzed since there might be something that can learned from it but I don’t know if that should be in the public realm. I think the need by the public to see and hear these scenes is murder porn and all media does it. Porn, no matter the type, is big business.

I don’t see the connection of the suppression of information to the maligning of Christians. Is it in your narrative that because the shooter was transgender the liberal media is protecting them and if the shooter was accused of being a white supremacist their manifesto would have been made public. That is without regard to the archetypical white supremacist mass shooter that leaves their manifesto online for the public to see and this shooter did not. I’ve mentioned it before, context is important. I can’t prove it isn’t being held back for the reasons you’ve proposed, however, they wouldn’t be the most straightforward explanation .

    1. My response to Mike:

MIKE: There seems to be a bit of paranoia with your statement. How would the media go about suppressing the manifesto? The reason I found it hasn’t been made public is because its release has been blocked by the parents at the school and the church. Also, the police have said they plan to release once the investigation is complete.

DAVE: I always try to be careful not to fill in the gaps with what I do not know. I never said why it hasn’t been released. I don’t know for certain. I just noted that it hadn’t. I have suspicions but I didn’t jump to conclusions without actual facts. I said only this:

Eight months ago, the shooter’s manifesto, an extensive one we were told, was to be released soon. We were willing to wait for the necessary legalities and the proper processes to be completed, but something derailed that promise as no official release ever came.

Can the shooter’s manifesto stand up to scrutiny? Can it be used to expose the lie the media knows it is propping up? As time passed, we heard nothing more, so we wondered why it was covered up.

Where is the paranoia? That’s a bit of a loaded charge that you do not substantiate.

MIKE: Nashville Tennessee is in a very red state so if the politicians had a concern, wouldn’t it be more public? The school is a Presbyterian parochial school and likely conservative. In other words, not aligned with the liberal new media that you fondly talk about. Not sure all this follows your narrative.

DAVE: What’s my narrative? I said the manifesto was not released and then went on to talk about things I was sure of (like the dishonesty and corruptness of our media). What’s your narrative: that the news media is not liberal, corrupt, and dishonest?

MIKE: The shooter, as you mentioned, doesn’t reflect the ideas and opinions of all transgender people and the fact they opened fire and committed a mass shooting I’d say they barely represent themselves. Their writings should be analyzed since there might be something that can learned from it but I don’t know if that should be in the public realm. I think the need by the public to see and hear these scenes is murder porn and all media does it. Porn, no matter the type, is big business.

DAVE: Why not release the shooter’s manifesto? If the shooter had not been transgender, the narrative would have been spun and the usual suspects blamed. As John likes to say we need to turn the tables on the dishonest media and use some of the same tactics to expose their lies. Further, as I said, there are legitimate reasons for us to know:

A manifesto would help us know much: what motivated this person, what pushed her over the edge, what opportunities were missed by authorities to prevent the attack. Was there easy access to guns and so more gun control is required? That’s a very common knee-jerk conclusion from our one-channel media. I’ve mentioned it before, context is important. I can’t prove it isn’t being held back for the reasons you’ve proposed, however, they wouldn’t be the most straightforward explanation .

DAVE: The shooter hated white privileged people and people with the means to send their kids to private school. She said so in her journal. Because it was a Christian school, she may have also been targeting Christians.

Our media continually targets Christians and have blamed them for attacks on transgenders because of their supposed hatred of them. This the real point of my outrage; the lies and absolute distortion of Christianity’s view of gay marriage, transgenderism, LGBTQ, etc. People like this shooter are influenced by such lies. You and the vast majority of liberals wouldn’t react this way, but the mentally unstable can. Furthermore, you (and millions more) are also influenced; you do not see how dishonest and corrupt the media is; you think they are often accurately portraying their political enemies. You should be outraged, as I am, by their lies about folks like me.

If the identities were different, one-channel would use the event to attack Christians or MAGA or Donald Trump or whoever else they could find some non-existent link to. I emphasize the point that we should not blame transgenders for this particular shooting. We do not use the same ugly tactics as they. However, I do blame the media for stirring up hatred and disseminating a false narrative which then influences many individuals like this woman. The media’s dishonesty is the problem.

Also, the second individual I mentioned at the end of the post, clearly was targeting Christians.

      https://www.theblaze.com/news/transgender-rape-christian-girls-christian-school-shooting

transgender individual threatened to rape Christian schoolgirls, inject HIV into people wearing crosses, and carry out a copycat of the Nashville Christian Covenant School shooting, according to federal authorities.
